I find people who describe themselves as "avid readers" pretentious and annoying.
That being said... I am an avid reader.
But the problem with liking to read so much is that you end up buying a lot of books. And well. Books are heavy.
Over the last 10 years, I have moved 13 times. All of those moves would have been a thousand times easier had it not been for the dozen or so boxes of books and journals in my possession.
At this point I realize that there is no need for me to keep all of this paper. So I decided to sell some of these books on amazon.com to make a couple bucks, and free up my book shelves.* Unfortunately, so has everyone else.
Either way, this page is a place for me to keep track of everything I have read, write up a little review, and link to amazon in case any of you kind souls might be interested in hooking me up with a $2 commission.**
If not, I promise I will donate these books to a library before I move again.
* so I can fill them up with new books.
** over the 300 other people selling the same damn book at the same damn price.
